OverviewIn this role you will design, implement, and maintain advanced data acquisition systems for aerospace applications.

You will act as the technical services architect across hardware, sensors, and data pipelines, delivering reliable data flows to stakeholders.

You will tackle data quality, system validation, and documentation while staying ahead of new technologies.

This position offers cross-functional collaboration and a meaningful impact on mission-critical data processing and health monitoring systems.

You will engage with customers and teams to drive successful data-driven solutions.

ResponsabilidadesDesign, implement, and integrate data acquisition solutions (hardware and software)

Specify sensors and instrumentation for optimal data collection for health monitoring and maintenance data-driven insights

Collaborate with engineering teams to define DAQ requirements aligned with customer expectations

Develop data processing algorithms to ensure data quality and integrity

Troubleshoot DAQ systems, sensors, and data flow

Conduct system validation and verification to meet technical and industry standards

Create technical documentation (specifications, test plans, procedures, CONOPS/OPSCON)

Stay updated on data acquisition, instrumentation,



and signal processing trends

Provide technical support and training to end-users

Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting

Requisitos principalesBachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (minimum: Bachelor)

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data acquisition systems

Strong understanding of sensor technologies (accelerometers, strain gauges, thermocouples, pressure transducers) and signal conditioning

Proficiency in Python and C++

Experience with various DAQ hardware platforms and software tools

Knowledge of data communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN bus, MIL-STD-****)

Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools

Experience in aerospace or defense industry desirable

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams

Willingness to travel

Fluent in English; Spanish a plus excellent communication teamwork problem-solving
