Madrid – 18-Month Initial Contract (Strong Chance of Extension)

Location: Madrid, Spain – Hybrid

We are seeking a Linux Technical Support Engineer to join the Technical Support Team in Madrid at a leading general cybersecurity company.

Role Overview:

This is a highly customer-focused technical role, requiring someone with a strong Linux background, cybersecurity knowledge and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

You will work directly with enterprise customers across EMEA to investigate and resolve complex technical issues, providing support across Linux-based applications, networking and cybersecurity environments.

This is an initial 18 month Fixed Term Contract with a very strong chance of Extension.

The role will support a leading Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platform. Previous experience with Cortex/XSOAR would be highly desirable but is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided during a structured onboarding programme.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide advanced Linux technical support and troubleshooting to external enterprise customers.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across Linux operating systems, applications and networking environments.
- Manage customer support cases from initial investigation through to successful resolution.




- Diagnose technical issues using root cause analysis, debugging and fault isolation techniques.
- Troubleshoot application, configuration and infrastructure-related issues.
- Work closely with Engineering and other technical teams to investigate and resolve escalated issues.
- Ensure customer cases are accurately documented, tracked and progressed within agreed SLAs.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 3+ years of experience in technical support, ideally within a cybersecurity or enterprise technology environment.
- Strong hands-on Linux experience, including troubleshooting, debugging and supporting Linux-based applications.
- Previous experience working within cybersecurity, with an understanding of security technologies and environments.
- Strong networking fundamentals and experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Experience supporting external enterprise customers, ideally in a senior support or escalations role.
- Fluent English language skills are essential, both written and verbal, to support international customers.
- Previous experience with Cortex XSOAR, SOAR platforms or other Cortex technologies would be highly desirable but is not essential, as full product training will be provided during onboarding.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in cybersecurity.
