We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager, Building Generation in Spain. This is a unique opportunity to lead a highly specialized engineering team developing the core technology behind next-generation home design and construction software. The role combines technical leadership, people management, and strategic planning within a cutting-edge environment focused on computational geometry, parametric modeling, and scalable platform development.

You will oversee the evolution of systems that transform architectural intent into buildable 2D and 3D models, supporting critical downstream processes such as documentation, estimation, and manufacturing. Working in a remote-first and highly autonomous setting, you will help establish and grow a European engineering team while collaborating with integral counterparts. It is ideal for leaders who thrive at the intersection of advanced geometry, platform engineering, and high-impact product development.

Lead planning, execution, and delivery across the generative building model, geometry processing pipeline, and platform APIs. Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing European engineering team specializing in computational geometry and CAD technologies. Review and guide technical proposals, architectural decisions, and engineering initiatives to ensure scalability and maintainability.

Coordinate with engineering leadership across regions to maintain alignment on technical direction, platform standards, and system interfaces. Drive the evolution of API contracts and integrations between core modeling systems and visualization, rendering, and interaction platforms. Foster an asynchronous,



ownership-driven engineering culture focused on accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Support the adoption of modern development practices, including AI-assisted engineering workflows and scalable software delivery processes. 5+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial work in computational geometry, CAD/CAM, or related technical domains. 2+ years of experience managing highly technical engineering teams. Strong experience building and maintaining parametric and generative modeling systems for complex 2D and 3D geometries. Familiarity with commercial, open-source, or custom geometry kernels and their associated trade-offs.

Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity. Demonstrated success delivering complex technical projects in fast-paced remote organizations.

Experience with architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), or homebuilding software is considered a strong advantage. Fully remote work environment with flexible scheduling.
