Senior Interior Designer – Hospitality | Madrid, Spain

MRG is supporting an internationally recognised architecture and design studio in appointing a Senior Hospitality Interior Designer to its Madrid team.

The studio’s portfolio spans luxury hotels and resorts, boutique properties, destination restaurants and high-end residential interiors, with an approach rooted in storytelling, creativity and attention to detail.

This opportunity would suit an accomplished designer who combines strong creative thinking with the technical expertise to develop concepts into carefully resolved interiors.

The role

Working closely with project and studio leadership, you will:

- Develop space planning, creative concepts and design solutions.
- Produce and coordinate presentation materials, design drawings and technical documentation.
- Liaise with clients, hotel operators, architects, specialist consultants and contractors.
- Review drawings, material samples, mock-ups and contractor submissions.
- Support project schedules,



maintain design standards and guide junior team members.
- Ensure designs meet applicable building codes and accessibility requirements.

Your background

• At least 10 years’ experience in hospitality and/or high-end residential interior design .

- A degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Strong design judgement, technical capability and an eye for detail.
- Confidence presenting ideas and collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign , alongside SketchUp, Rhino and/or Revit .

Fluency in both English and Spanish, together with EU residency, is essential.
