Enhancing and maintaining high-scaledistributed backend systemshandling millions of assets

Solving complexdata processing, enrichment, and classification problemsat scale

Maintainingperformance, reliability, and engineering rigorin anAI?assisted development environment

Key Responsibilities

Design and buildscalable backend services and data pipelinesfor asset discovery, recognition, and enrichment

Work ondistributed systems problems: concurrency, fault tolerance, and high-throughput processing

IntegrateAI and ML capabilitiesinto product workflows

Contribute toarchitecture decisions and technical standards

UseAI-assisted development toolsas part of your daily workflow

Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar

Participate incode reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement

Key Requirements

Hard Skills

Primary language:Go or Rust





Proven experience buildingdistributed systems at scale

Strong experience withAI-assisted development tools(Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.)

Hands-on experience withAWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform

Strong understanding ofbackend systems and data-intensive platforms

Active engineering practice (GitHub, open-source, or personal projects — we will look)

Soft Skills

Strongsystems thinkingand problem?solving ability

Ability to work effectively inAI-augmented environments

AI Specific Skills

In this role, you are expected to actively useAI-assisted development toolssuch asClaude Code, agents, subagents, and MCP-based workflowsas a core part of your engineering workflow.

You should be comfortableprompting, validating, and refining AI-generated code, and using AI to improve development speed while maintaining production-quality standards.

Each level maps to a salary band based on salary benchmarks from the Software/SaaS industry of your country, so your pay reflects what the market pays for comparable roles.





The gross salary range for this role is €48,295 – €78,478 (EUR) (Spain) (based on full-time employment).

Where you land within that range depends on the expertise you bring, the complexity you have navigated, the scope of impact you have owned, and your track record of delivering results in comparable roles — the same criteria applied consistently to every candidate.
