Our client, a prominent player in the retail sector, is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer specializing in Supply Chain and Logistics to join their fully remote team. This role is integral to optimizing the flow of goods, managing inventory, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and improve all aspects of the supply chain and logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize carrying costs.





- Design and refine warehouse layouts and material handling processes for maximum efficiency.

- Utilize data analysis and modeling tools to forecast demand, plan capacity, and identify logistical bottlenecks.

- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and distribution centers to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.

- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance.

- Implement technology solutions to enhance visibility and efficiency within the supply chain.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics operations.

- Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving the sustainability of supply chain practices.

- Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
