I nterested in nanocatalysis, CO₂ conversion and solar fuels? We are recruiting a PhD researcher through @TERRA-MED, an MSCA COFUND programme offering 33 funded international PhD positions addressing environmental and climate challenges in Mediterranean territories.
Por favor, asegúrese de leer atentamente los siguientes detalles antes de enviar cualquier solicitud.
Our project: “Surface-Engineered Nanocatalysts for Solar-Driven CO₂ Conversion into Sustainable Fuels and Chemicals” (reference UAB1).
Jointly supervised by Xavier Sala at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (SelOxCat) and Karine Philippot at LCC-CNRS in Toulouse,
this project will explore how nanoparticle architecture and surface chemistry control catalyst evolution and the conversion of CO₂ into multicarbon products.
The doctoral researcher will develop skills in nanoparticle synthesis, molecular interface engineering, electrochemistry and operando characterisation, working across the Barcelona and Toulouse teams and undertaking a non-academic secondment.
We are looking for a curious, rigorous and motivated candidate with a strong experimental background and a relevant Master’s degree. xghoner MSCA mobility and eligibility rules apply.
