Optimize system performance and ensure scalability of applications. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. ~5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development and data handling. ~ Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. ~ Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). ~ Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus. ~ Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. ~ Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker) is beneficial. ~ Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment in Bilbao, Basque Country. ~ Proficiency in English is required.
