Europe-Wide | Contract | Up to €300 Per Day **MUST HAVE SCALEWAY EXPERIENCE** Location: Remote – Europe Rate: Up to €300 per day (maximum) Contract: Inital 12 months - Strong chance of extension (Long term project) Start: Immediate The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on DevOps professionals who enjoy taking ownership of cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and building secure, scalable, and reliable environments.

The infrastructure is built around Scaleway, and we are particularly interested in candidates with direct Scaleway experience. However, engineers with strong AWS, Azure or GCP experience who can quickly adapt to the Scaleway environment will also be considered.

Although we initially focused on Poland, we are now open to considering strong candidates from across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Scaleway, including Kubernetes Kapsule, Instances, Object Storage and Managed Databases.

Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi.

Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar.

Deploy, manage and scale Kubernetes workloads, including Helm charts.

Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki or similar tools.

Manage configuration, secrets and infrastructure security.

Optimise cloud infrastructure performance and costs.

Implement security best practices, including IAM,



network segmentation and vulnerability management.

Support production environments, incident response and troubleshooting.Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years' experience in DevOps, SRE or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with Scaleway, AWS, Azure or GCP.

Solid Terraform experience and Infrastructure as Code knowledge.

Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience.

Experience with Kubernetes deployments, networking, RBAC and autoscaling.

Scripting experience with Python, Bash or Go.

Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Good understanding of cloud networking, DNS, load balancing and TLS.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Nice to Have

Direct experience working with Scaleway infrastructure, CLI and APIs.

Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.

Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2 or GDPR requirements.

Experience leading infrastructure projects or mentoring engineers.

What We're Looking For We want proactive engineers who can work autonomously, take ownership of infrastructure and contribute to a long-term engineering engagement.

You should be comfortable working remotely with distributed development teams, communicating effectively and taking responsibility for the reliability, security and performance of production environments.
