We're partnering with an international technology consultancy to hire a Senior Data Engineer for one of the world's leading travel tech platforms.

You'll join the team behind a data platform that processes 3.6B+ domain events and ~11.5 TB of data every day, powering products used by millions of travelers worldwide.Senior, international engineering team working in English

Embedded directly in the client's tech organization, with real say in architecture

A hands-on senior seat on a platform where scale is the daily challenge.

You'll work across the full data lifecycle (capture, ingestion, processing, enrichment, storage and distribution), building distributed systems that are scalable, resilient and highly available.

You'll write clean, tested code,



optimize performance, own monitoring and reliability, and document and influence architectural decisions.

5+ years of experience with Python or Scala (you don't need both)

Proven track record building data pipelines and distributed systems in production

Strong SQL, with both relational and non-relational databases

Solid cloud experience, ideally AWS

Kubernetes, Terraform, Databricks or Flink; Billions of events a day, a modern stack, senior colleagues, high ownership from day one, up to €75K base.

This is a chance to own a critical piece of one of the largest data platforms in travel.
