About the project
Our client, a integral leader in energy technology, is looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to join its data team. You will turn data from a wide range of sources into reliable models, automated workflows and clear dashboards that support business decisions.
You will own the full analytics flow, from pulling data out of enterprise systems and spreadsheets, through transformation in Alteryx and modelling in Snowflake, to reporting in Power BI. Design and develop dashboards in Power BI
Design and build ETL/ELT workflows in Alteryx, feeding a Snowflake-based data lake
Extract and integrate data from a range of sources, from a Collibra enterprise data catalogue to manual Excel trackers
Design and build data models in Snowflake for raw and transformed data
Ensure data quality, consistency and documentation across the pipeline
Proven experience as a Data Analytics Engineer, BI Engineer or similar
on Power BI skills, including data modelling and DAX
Strong Snowflake and SQL experience
Experience working with data from varied and unstructured sources, including Excel
Experience with Collibra or other data catalogue and governance tools
Background in the energy or industrial sector
