Your Task

As a Lead AI Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and operate a scalable, production-grade platform for deploying and running autonomous AI agents, including model serving, tool-calling, and state management. You will develop high-performance, low-latency inference services on GPU/TPU clusters, implement autoscaling with Kubernetes and Knative, and build CI/CD and MLOps pipelines for model versioning, canary releases, and rollback. You will also contribute to platform reliability, observability, and security, while developing tools that enable internal teams and external partners to efficiently integrate with and use the AI platform. The role combines software engineering, distributed systems, and AI infrastructure, with a strong focus on delivering secure, scalable, and reliable production solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design and own the core platform that builds, deploys, and runs autonomous AI agents (model serving, tool‑calling, state management)
- Build high‑throughput, low‑latency inference services on GPU/TPU clusters and implement autoscaling with Kubernetes/Knative
- Create CI/CD & MLOps pipelines for model versioning, canary releases, and rollback
- Define SLO/SLI, set up monitoring (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry), and lead incident response
- Implement security controls (IAM, sandboxed execution, data‑residency policies)
- Deliver developer‑friendly SDKs, CLI tools, and documentation for internal teams and external partners
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best‑practice code standards

Your Profile

We are seeking a Lead AI Platform Engineer with extensive experience in distributed systems, AI infrastructure, and platform engineering. The idóneo candidate will have deep expertise in building scalable, production-grade platforms for AI model serving,



strong proficiency in modern programming languages, and hands-on experience with GPU/TPU workloads and Kubernetes orchestration.

Must Have Skills

- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems
- Proficient in Go or Rust
- Proficient in Python
- Strong experience with Kubernetes
- Strong experience with Docker
- Strong experience with Helm
- Hands-on experience with model serving frameworks such as Triton, vLLM, or TensorFlow Serving
- Experience with GPU/TPU workloads
- Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or Pulsar
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Solid knowledge of LLM concepts
- Solid knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation
- Solid knowledge of tool-use APIs
- Strong debugging skills
- Strong observability skills with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
- Strong security skills including IAM and Vault
- Excellent communication skills
- Bias toward shipping reliable, production-grade code

Nice to Have Skills

- Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
- M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with serverless runtimes
- Experience with vector databases such as FAISS or Milvus
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGPT
- Open-source contributions in AI/ML infrastructure
