At Joko, our mission is to we help consumers save time and money when shopping online or in-store.
Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 120 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). Today, Joko is an AI shopping app: with Juno, our shopping assistant, users can find the right product at the best price in only a few seconds, with recommendations that get sharper the more they use it.
It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us!
This position is remote-friendly.
From brainstorming to development to launch, the Product team's main mission is to turn ideas into reality by working hand-in-hand with the Engineering, Design and Business teams.
Design at Joko has been a founding obsession. From day one, we've believed that a B2C product lives or dies on the quality of its experience, and we've held an unusually high bar on craft, motion, and detail across every surface of the app. As a Product Designer, you'll join a small team with a mature design system, a strong design culture, and a product that already reaches millions of users.
As a Product Designer, you will own end-to-end design on real product problems that ship to millions of users. You will report to our Head of Product Design and work day to day with Product Managers, Engineers and Brand Design.
Design has been a founding obsession at Joko. We believe a consumer product lives or dies on the quality of its experience, and we have held an unusually high bar on craft, motion and detail since day one. The design team is still small, so the scope is wide and the people joining now have real influence on how design works here.

- Design the AI shopping experience: Our ambition for Juno, our shopping assistant, is that it becomes the way people shop online. You will design that experience from a blank page: how a conversation turns into a decision, what Juno shows and when,

how it earns enough trust that someone buys on its recommendation.
- Own problems end to end: You will frame the problem with your PM and engineers, talk to users, explore directions, prototype (we prototype almost everything before we build it), ship, then read what the data and the reviews say and go again.
- Onboarding, activation, cash back collection, redemption. This year we are explicitly choosing polish over feature accumulation, and that work is yours.
- Joko sits on unusually rich shopping data that the experience barely uses today. You will design adaptive surfaces, from home to search to browse, so that each user feels the product knows them and so that our recommendations actually feel helpful.
- The mobile app, the web app, the desktop extension and the mobile Safari extension. You will think across surfaces, and you will design for France, the US and the markets we open next, without falling into France-first assumptions.
- Shape how design works here: With a team this small, you get a real say well beyond your own projects: the design system as a living product, the craft bar we hold, how we run reviews and rituals. You will know when to ship inside the system, when to extend it, and when to argue for refactoring it.
- Partner closely with Brand Design: Joko's brand and product experience need to feel like one thing, from the first ad a user sees to the cash back that lands in their account.

- You will bring modern AI and design tools into your day-to-day workflow to accelerate discovery, prototyping and iteration, with opinions formed from real attempts and real failures.

Experience: You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally including time on B2C and mobile-first products.

- Your portfolio shows end-to-end product thinking, sharp interaction design and real attention to detail. You are equally at home framing a problem with PM and Engineering, running quick user conversations, exploring directions and polishing the final UI. Hands-on with AI and modern design tools: You have real, recent experience using AI in your design workflow, with opinions formed from presente attempts and actual failures. You are curious and experimental about where it helps.
- Design systems mindset: You have worked inside a design system before and you treat it as a force multiplier. You know when to follow it, when to extend it, and when to push back.
- You have worked closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Brand or Marketing Designers. Languages: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. French or Spanish is a plus.
- Some of the benefits listed below are available to full-time positions only)

Flexible remote : If you live in Paris, you can choose to work from our office or from home with no constraints. If you live elsewhere, we can provide access to a coworking space and a coworking budget.

- Yearly offsite in amazing locations and budget for team-building events & monthly in-person gatherings
- The exercise will be relevant to your role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design).
- A 90-min live technical interview on CoderPad covering code understanding, review, system design, and product thinking (with AI serving as a collaboration tool).

You may also be invited for coffee with team members to get a feel for our culture.
