AstraZeneca seeks an Associate Director to establish a unified learning and capability development strategy across seven EU oncology markets based in Madrid. The role involves designing scalable programs, consolidating market insights, and driving measurable adoption and behavioral change across business, medical, and field teams.

Responsibilities

- Develop and lead EUCAN capability vision, strategy and regional implementation plan aligned to Oncology priorities
- Aggregate capability needs across EU7 markets and convert them into prioritized regional agenda
- Establish governance and operating rhythms connecting regional and market capability teams for coordinated delivery
- Design and deliver scalable capability programs for business, medical and field force teams to improve performance
- Define success measures and track adoption, application, behavioral change and business impact

Requirements





- Experience leading strategic learning or capability development across multiple markets or business units
- Ability to translate business needs into clear capability strategy and implementation plans
- Proven track record delivering high-impact, cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication and influencing skills in matrixed organizations
- Scientific understanding with ability to apply clinical fundamentals; Oncology experience desirable
- Experience with digital learning technologies and innovative development approaches
- Change management experience and ability to implement new ways of working
