Overview

As Senior Financial Planning Specialist, you will support the Finance Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling financial activities to help the company meet its budget and plan. You will own forecasting and reporting, and serve as a reference for Planning Specialists. The role requires cross-functional partnership to support budget prep and cost-saving opportunities, plus process automation to improve efficiency. You will contribute to strategic planning and board-ready analyses in a fast-growing, global tech environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape FP&A; in a leading data platform company.

Responsabilidades

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual rolling forecasts and report actuals vs budget with ad-hoc analyses
- Build and maintain financial and forecast models for assigned areas ensuring accuracy of reporting and cash flow
- Analyze historical data and budget variances to identify drivers and improvement opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, HR, and other units to support budget prep, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities




- Champion the budgeting and forecasting system enhancements to automate and streamline processes
- Support preparation of quantitative analyses and presentations for strategic planning, projects, and investor/board meetings
- Apply and maintain internal controls in financial models and processes, flagging deficiencies
- Guide Planning Specialists and share best practices to enhance day-to-day work

Requisitos principales
- BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
- 3–5 years FP&A; or corporate planning experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting and US GAAP
- Experience with financial systems, planning tools, and budgeting; Workday and NetSuite a plus
- Advanced Excel and planning software proficiency
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a general, cross-time-zone team
- Interest or familiarity with the software industry
