Why we will love youAs AdTech Software Engineer (Backend), your main responsibilities will include:Development of new AdTech solutions, like focusing on data transfer to paid media channels to find lookalikes and to retarget customers or any AdTech solutions.Stakeholder management and continuous collaboration with related teams and external parties like Facebook, Instagram, Google and other paid media channels. This will be an intense collaboration which we expect you to leadSetting up the solution and data architecture from scratch, including data pipelines, DevOps practices and native cloud componentsBeing responsible for the development of high quality (software) code which has been tested and is ready to be shippedStrong data analytical skills as a part of the team working on data transferHandling advertising tag management and implementation on the IKEA websiteLogging, alerting, tracing in the cloudSecurity concepts especially around transfer of personal dataWorking in agile teams in across the capability areas, contributing to the development and maintenance of products and solutionsApplying and adhere to good practice software engineering practices (e.DRY principles, TDD and BDD, continuous integration, automated tests, pair programming, code reviews)

As Adtech Software

Engineer you need to have the below skillsets:Strong expertise on Digital Marketing and Integration with Paid Media Channels (Facebook, Instagram, Google, DSPs, YouTube etc..)Strong software engineering experience with TypeScript and Node.Js.Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or comparable cloud platforms.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub-based development workflows.Because you will be creating a new platform which involves a lot of collaborations with other teams, we expect you to be good at stakeholder management and good at integrating with other projects and external partiesMobile app development skills are a plus, as we work on mobile-related tasksTogether as a teamWe're the ones who make it possible for people to have a smarter life at home and a hassle-free and rewarding shopping experience.
