Senior/Lead Product Manager – Energy Flexibility & Monetisation Industry: Energy Technology | Flexibility | Virtual Power Plants | Distributed Energy Resources The Opportunity We're partnering with a fast-growing energy technology company developing software that is transforming how distributed energy resources participate in electricity markets. Its platform connects and orchestrates assets including residential batteries, EV chargers, solar PV and heat pumps, enabling utilities, energy retailers and technology partners to unlock flexibility and generate commercial value. As the business expands across Europe and North America, we're looking for an experienced Senior/Lead Product Manager to help shape and scale the commercial monetisation capabilities of its platform. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of energy markets, software and commercial product development, helping turn distributed flexibility into scalable, revenue-generating services. The Role You'll take a leading role in defining and developing the product capabilities that enable flexibility to be commercially monetised across different energy markets. The business already has significant expertise in AI, optimisation and asset orchestration. Your focus will be on the broader commercial and operational infrastructure required to bring flexibility to market. You'll work closely with engineering, trading, commercial and product teams to develop scalable solutions that support market participation, settlement, billing and revenue management.

Key Responsibilities
* Own and develop the product roadmap for flexibility monetisation capabilities.
* Translate complex electricity-market requirements into scalable software products.




* Develop product functionality supporting market participation, trading operations, settlement and revenue reconciliation.
* Work on commercial processes involving billing, payments, incentives and revenue allocation.
* Understand how flexibility revenues are generated and distributed across utilities, aggregators, asset owners and other market participants.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements and deliver technically complex products.
* Work closely with commercial and market-facing stakeholders to identify opportunities for new monetisation models.
* Support the expansion of product capabilities across different European energy markets.
* Balance strategic product thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment. What We're Looking For We're particularly interested in Product Managers who combine strong software product management experience with a broad understanding of electricity markets and utility operations. Ideally, you'll bring:
* Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager, Lead Product Manager or Product Lead within energy technology.
* Strong understanding of electricity markets, energy trading, flexibility or demand response.
* Experience with energy-market settlement, billing, revenue reconciliation or related commercial processes.
* Knowledge of how energy retailers, utilities, aggregators or flexibility providers operate.




* Experience translating complex market and regulatory requirements into software products.
* A track record of owning product strategy, roadmaps and delivery alongside engineering teams.
* The ability to engage with technical, commercial and operational stakeholders. Particularly Relevant Backgrounds We'd be interested in speaking with individuals who have worked across:
* Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) and Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS).
* Energy flexibility platforms and demand response.
* Energy trading and market participation software.
* Utility billing, settlement and energy retail platforms.
* Battery storage optimisation and commercialisation.
