Overview

In this Platform Engineer role, you will design, operate and scale cloud-based platforms, applying infrastructure-as-code to provision and manage resources. You will support migrating workloads from on-premises to AWS and collaborate across large, cross-functional teams to deliver container platforms and CI/CD pipelines. You will troubleshoot complex cloud and data-center environments, monitor health with APM tools, and contribute to secure, reliable platform operations. You will work in a large, collaborative setting focused on scalable, cloud-native solutions.

Responsabilidades

- Collaborate with agile teams to build, operate, secure and scale public cloud solutions.
- Provision and maintain infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code with cross-functional teams.
- Build and manage container platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Migrate infrastructure and applications from on-premises data centers to AWS.
- Create and maintain CI/CD jobs and pipelines using Jenkinsfiles and AWS CI/CD tools.
- Develop and run containers and container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, ECS, Fargate).
- Troubleshoot cloud and on-premises environments across multiple environments.




- Monitor platform and application health with APM tools like Dynatrace and CloudWatch.

Requisitos principales

- Experience migrating infrastructure and/or applications to public cloud.
- General troubleshooting knowledge of security, networking and Linux OS.
- 3+ years Linux OS experience (Red Hat, SUSE, Amazon Linux).
- 3+ years Docker experience and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, ECS, Fargate).
- Hands-on AWS Glue experience (critical).
- 3+ years Git, shell scripting, Python or similar languages.
- 3+ years Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience with Ansible, Chef or Puppet configuration management.
- 3+ years Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkinsfiles).
- Experience building, testing and deploying containers and test automation.
- Experience with AWS CI/CD tools and monitoring with Dynatrace or CloudWatch.
