The Regulatory Affairs Specialist – EAME is responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international food regulations, applicable standards and customer-specific requirements.

This role supports the company’s Operations, Quality and R&D; teams by interpreting regulatory guidelines, coordinating product approvals and maintaining the documentation required for regulatory submissions.

The position involves regular communication with external regulatory authorities, customers and internal stakeholders, as well as the ability to manage several regulatory projects and product portfolios simultaneously.

Responsibilities

- Monitors international regulatory developments.
- Validates formulas, briefs and new developments.
- Provides regulatory support to the departments concerned.
- Drafts technical documents for customers.

Knowledge & skills

- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in regulatory affairs in the food or beverage industry.
- Knowledge of international food regulations (e.g. EU, FDA, CODEX, EFSA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in document management systems and the MS Office suite.
