Overview

In this role you lead the software engineering team developing GMV’s space surveillance solutions. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary engineers to deliver microservices-based software that supports SST systems. You’ll drive Agile practices, ensure integration and quality, and promote scalable, maintainable high‑throughput data processing. This is a mission‑driven opportunity to shape the SST domain within a growing space sector leader.

Responsabilidades

- Lead and coordinate a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based software solutions
- Oversee integration of SST algorithms ensuring alignment with system requirements
- Manage Agile software development activities including sprint planning and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with aerospace, software, systems, and DevOps teams for effective delivery
- Supervise system integration, validation, and testing to ensure software quality and reliability




- Improve performance, scalability, and maintainability of high‑throughput data processing systems
- Coordinate technical support for operational systems in real-time environments
- Promote software engineering best practices like code reviews, documentation, automated testing, and standards compliance
- Support team members’ professional development through mentoring and knowledge sharing

Requisitos principales

- Solid backend experience with Java and Spring Boot, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience leading software teams in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) with API security (OAuth2, JWT)
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL data modeling and query optimization
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and Git
- Understanding of software engineering best practices (code reviews, automated testing, clean code)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with ability to guide multidisciplinary teams
