Overview

In this Lead Game Designer role, you will shape the overall game vision and ensure a cohesive player experience across platforms. You’ll lead the design team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and drive innovation and quality in a fast-growing studio. This position places you at the intersection of design, gameplay systems, and progression, directly influencing how players engage with our AA experiences. Your work will support Gameloft’s mission to create moments of happiness through compelling, cross-platform games.

Responsabilidades

- Define and execute the game vision with studio stakeholders and leads
- Direct tone, gameplay, and meta-structure to foster innovation and high-quality AA experiences
- Lead the design team to ensure cohesive player experience
- Coordinate with level design to align mechanics and progression




- Anticipate and mitigate threats to quality and innovation
- Build cross-department collaboration with Art, UI, Tech, Online, Data, Audio, Production and HR
- Allocate and plan resources and roadmap with managers and producers
- Participate in recruiting game designers

Requisitos principales

- 6+ years in game design including lead or principal roles
- Released at least two titles as lead/principal/senior designer
- Experience with 3Cs and gameplay systems in PC/console action genres
- Prototyping experience with Unity or Unreal
- Proficiency in meta-game progression, balancing, UI/UX, level design, and narrative
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of gaming market and trends
- Ability to maintain a defined creative strategy while accommodating changes
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma
- Fluent in English
