Overview

In this role you drive independent engineering and technical advisory for wind onshore projects, supporting financing, acquisitions, and divestments. You will liaise with lenders, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality technical analyses and risk-aware recommendations. You’ll lead multi-country projects, mentor juniors, and promote best practices to elevate the due diligence function. Responsabilidades

- Manage Independent Engineering and Technical Advisory projects for wind financing, acquisitions, and divestments
- Compile and deliver IE/TA reports with findings, risks, and recommendations
- Coordinate input from multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and quality
- Prepare proposals with scope, approach, team, budget, and schedule
- Lead project execution, resources, and budgets to meet deliverables
- Serve as primary client interface with lenders, developers, and stakeholders
- Develop communication plans and lead project status meetings
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies




- Mentor junior staff and promote knowledge sharing
- Conduct site visits and monitor construction/operations
- Review progress against specs, budgets, and schedules; produce monitoring reports
- Represent UL Solutions at industry conferences and client meetings
- Support business strategy and growth objectives of the due diligence team

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
- at least 4 years of experience in renewable energy, technical due diligence, or project engineering
- solid understanding of wind turbine technology and turbine technology assessments
- understanding of KPIs for onshore wind projects and energy yield modelling methodologies
- experience evaluating project agreements (TSA, BOP, O&M;, PPA, asset management, financing contracts)
- demonstrated project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and solar PV technologies (advantage)
- fluent English; proficiency in German, Italian, or Polish (advantage)
