Experteer Overview In this role you lead embedded software activities for space-grade systems, guiding a team of engineers and steering the full software lifecycle to high reliability. You apply MBSE and space-standard practices to deliver performant microprocessor-based solutions, collaborating across GNSS-focused and space programs. You’ll contribute to Capella/EA MBSE efforts and ensure quality and documentation. This position sits in the Space Business Unit, contributing to Europe’s autonomy and flagship initiatives.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers providing technical guidance
- Oversee the complete software development lifecycle from planning to deployment
- Apply systems engineering best practices during conception, specification, and design
- Design and optimize embedded software for microprocessor-based systems ensuring performance and reliability
- Contribute to MBSE activities using Capella and Enterprise Architect
- Ensure compliance with ESA ECSS or similar space standards and quality validation
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in GNSS-based space solutionsResponsabilidades
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in space
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams
- Strong experience in embedded software development in C and C++
- Experience with microprocessor-based systems and Linux environments, especially PetaLinux
- Solid knowledge of Python
- Experience with software version management tools
- Experience with quality validation processes
- Strong background in systems engineering best practices
- Hands-on MBSE experience with Capella and Enterprise Architect (advanced level)
- Good understanding of GNSS systems including concepts, signals, performance, RF interference detection, and geolocation
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems
