Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for an Application Support Technician. The consultant is expected to bring specialist or expert-level proficiency in application maintenance and general IT support, preferably with experience providing Tier-2 support for business applications, enterprise tools or database administration. The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the DSM Team Lead, and in close collaboration with other DSM members and units.

Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of applications and tools for the client and partners

- Perform database administration tasks of MSSQL and open source databases
- Assist in the evaluation, configuration and installation of new releases in accordance with established configuration management standards
- Assist in the deployment of tools and in the implementation of processes to assist in operational support
- Assist in responding to application-related queries from end users in remote locations
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to Tier-1 and deliver end-user training sessions on the application functionality. Assist in the development and in the updating of software applications related documentation, including technical documentation and system reports, attend operational and other meetings; call 24×7 support,



and work in shifts when requested
- Provide other ad hoc support either within your team or in other teams as required – this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part?time or full?time basis upon request from the senior management
- Three to five years of experience in application maintenance and general IT support
- Good working knowledge of client/server applications in a Windows/Linux environment
- Good working knowledge of Database Management
- Very good knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required. At least three years of experience administering Microsoft Windows server, SQL Server databases and . NET applications. Good working knowledge of MySQL, RedHat Linux server, and Drupal applications Good working knowledge of general Active Directory Architecture, AWS and Azure Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision Certifications and advanced training in Microsoft technologies Certification and familiarity with ITIL concepts and processes TRIGYN TECHNOLOGIES is a multinational IT services company with resources deployed in 28 countries.
