OverviewIn this role you will design, implement, and optimize Databricks-based data architectures to deliver scalable, secure Lakehouse solutions.

You'll work across cloud and multi-cloud environments, shaping modern data platforms and enabling advanced analytics and AI capabilities.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data governance, performance, and cost optimization as part of broader digital transformation efforts.

ResponsabilidadesDesign Lakehouse and Delta Lake architectures across cloud/multi-cloud

Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark, Structured Streaming, Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines

Implement data governance, security, and lineage via Unity Catalog

Define AI governance via Unity Gateway

Design ML/Generative AI environments using MLflow and Databricks Genie





Optimize platform performance and costs following FinOps principles

Support data platform modernization and migrations to Lakehouse architectures

Advise clients on Databricks best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requisitos principalesStrong experience in data architecture and Databricks-based solutions

Deep knowledge of Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Photon

Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and IAM security

Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing

Knowledge of data governance, performance optimization, and Lakehouse architectures

Strong communication, autonomy, and customer-oriented mindset

Fluent English and Spanish

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience communication autonomy customer-oriented mindset
