Department: Business Development Internship: Paid internship About Xcalibur Smart Mapping Xcalibur Smart Mapping is a global leader in airborne and marine geophysical solutions, supporting governments and organisations worldwide in mapping and understanding natural resources and territories. Role Overview As a Business Development Analyst Intern, you will support the Business Development team in identifying and analysing business opportunities, conducting market research and preparing information to support commercial and strategic decision-making. We are looking for someone with a proactive attitude, strong analytical skills and, above all, curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn and contribute. Previous professional experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the identification and analysis of new business opportunities and potential markets.
* Conduct market, industry, country and competitor research.
* Support the preparation of business analyses, reports and presentations.
* Assist in monitoring commercial opportunities and ongoing Business Development initiatives.
* Gather, organise and analyse relevant business and market information.




* Support the preparation of materials for internal and external meetings.
* Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders across the organisation.
* Provide support on ad hoc Business Development and strategic projects. What We Are Looking For
* Currently studying or recently graduated in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, International Business or a related field.
* Fluent English, both written and spoken. Spanish or other languages would be an advantage.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Analytical mindset and ability to work comfortably with data and information.
* Proactive, curious and eager to learn.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Organised, responsible and detail-oriented.
* Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
* Previous experience is not required. We value attitude, motivation and potential.
