Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services usingJava 21andSpring Bootin enterprise environments.

Build and maintainREST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger)and work withPostgreSQLfor scalable data solutions.

Ensure stable and secure operation of systems inCloud Foundry environments.

Handleincident management, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution, including hotfixes when required.

Maintainmonitoring, alerting, and logging using Splunkto ensure system reliability.





Performvulnerability management, security updates, and certificate/secret lifecycle management.

SupportCI/CD pipelines, automation jobs, and operational tooling improvements.

Contribute tocode refactoring, technical debt reduction, and minor feature enhancements.

Supportmigration activities(e.g., database upgrades or system migrations).

Maintain and support existingDatabricks components and data-related services.

ApplyClean Code and SOLID principles, working in distributed and microservices architectures.

Requirements

Must Have Skills

5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

At leastB2 German level

Strong experience withJava 21

Solid experience withSpring Boot

Experience withPostgreSQL

Experience withunit and integration testing

Experience working withCloud Foundry (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)

Experience inmaintenance and production-close environments (incident handling, hotfixes, RCA)

Understanding ofAPI design (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger)

Strong knowledge ofCI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

Frontend experience withAngular 17+ / TypeScript

Experience withKafka or IBM MQ

Experience withSonarQube and code quality tools

Experience withHexagonal Architecture

Experience withSplunk (monitoring / logging)

Experience inmigration projects (e.g., legacy system modernization)
