Testing Manager / Functional Test Lead

Role Description

Main Responsibilities

- Define and lead the testing strategy and planning.
- Design and ensure the coverage of functional test scenarios and test cases, including edge cases and unforeseen situations.
- Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria from a QA and end-to-end quality perspective.
- Coordinate testing cycles, track defects and quality risks, and define quality gates and go/no-go criteria before production releases.
- Act as the testing reference point for business, product, and development teams.
- Drive QA automation and continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of Generative AI where it adds value.

Critical Skills
- Strong experience as a Test Manager, QA Lead, Functional Test Lead, or similar role.
- Expertise in functional testing and the design of end-to-end test scenarios and test cases.
- Experience with test plans, test cases, regression testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Strong defect management skills, including tracking incidents,



defects, and quality risks.
- Ability to translate complex business processes into an effective testing strategy.
- High level of autonomy and ownership of quality, with an analytical mindset focused on anticipating risks rather than simply executing test cases.
- Strong communication skills and experience managing client expectations.
- English level C1.

Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services/banking environments.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Knowledge of test automation.
- Experience applying Generative AI to testing, including test case generation, requirements analysis, and scenario identification.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD practices.
