OverviewAs Lead VFX Artist at Gameloft, you will steer the VFX discipline across multiple games, aligning artistic vision with technical quality.

You'll partner with the Art Director and stakeholders to shape visual direction, and oversee the full VFX pipeline from concept to delivery using in-house tools and a proprietary engine.

You'll lead a team, resolve blockers, and elevate VFX standards and workflows to support studio goals.

This role offers impact on cross-platform games and opportunities to evolve our VFX technology and practices.

ResponsabilidadesOversee and prioritise the VFX team, meet deadlines and quality targets

Steer visual and technical unity across all VFX with the Art Director

Collaborate with Art Leads, Producers, Gameplay, Tech Art, Engineering, and partners

Manage the VFX pipeline from concept to final delivery

Establish and maintain VFX standards, workflows, and best practices





Mentor VFX artists and support team growth and development

Requisitos principalesAdvanced expertise in real-time VFX for games with a strong portfolio

Proficiency in real-time VFX techniques within a 3D game engine

Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or CryEngine

Understanding of how VFX affects gameplay and player experience

Experience creating particle systems in Maya, Houdini, or 3ds Max

Familiarity with VFX plugins (RayFire, Krakatoa, FumeFX, AfterBurn, Maya Fluids)

Ability to prioritise, coordinate workflows, and maintain quality

Proactive, collaborative, open to feedback

Comfort with in-house tools and proprietary tech

English proficiency for international collaboration

Mobile game development experience a plus
