OverviewLead the system architecture team in HW/SW co-design to influence SoC and IP definitions with a software-first perspective.
You will guide pre-silicon exploration, data-driven decisions, and hands-on engineering while mentoring senior architects and embedding software into hardware design.
This role bridges architecture with customers and downstream software teams to ensure usable, debuggable platforms.
You shape silicon definition and drive early collaboration across hardware and software domains.
ResponsabilidadesDirect, mentor, and manage the HW/SW co-design architecture team and drive performance
Serve as primary technical liaison between architecture team and Senior Director, translating strategy into roadmaps
Coordinate with digital, analog, software, validation, and product management to resolve trade-offs and remove bottlenecks
Lead SoC co-architecture to balance hardware complexity, software efficiency, and user experience
Translate customer use cases into system requirements and assess data paths for hardware accelerators
Define core firmware architecture across bootloaders, init sequences, microcode, and kernel drivers
Champion hardware debuggability and observability from silicon bring-up to field deployment
Act as customer proxy to ensure intuitive platform APIs and programming models
Requisitos principales15+ years of system software architecture, firmware development, and HW/SW co-design
3+ years of engineering management or team leadership
Expert in C/C++ for low-level embedded software, bootloaders, and device drivers in RTOS (e.g., Zephyr) and Embedded Linux
Knowledge of memory hierarchies, AMBA AXI/AHB/APB, DMA, and RISC-V/ARM architectures
Hands-on bring-up, JTAG debugging, and RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog) reading/evaluation leadership and mentoring cross-functional collaboration effective communication
