Mission

As aSoftware Architect specialised in GenAI and Agentic solutions, your mission will be to designsecure, scalable and well-governed AI solutionsfor enterprise environments, connectingsystems, data, APIs, cloud platforms and business needs.

The focus is not on years with one specific tool.

What matters is astrong architecture foundationand the ability to apply it tonew AI patterns, taking solutionsbeyond the proof of conceptand into real production.

You will work hand in hand withdevelopment, data, cloud, cybersecurity and business teams, acting as the technical reference in architecture discussions.

Responsibilities

Designingreference architectures for GenAI and agent-based solutions, defining how models,



data, APIs, tools and business processes fit together

Assessing use cases and recommending theright pattern for each one: knowledge assistants, workflow automation, tool-using agents,multi-agent systemsor AI embedded in existing products

Defining how agentssecurely access corporate data and systems: permissions, access control, secrets management, traceability and action boundaries

Designingknowledge retrieval components(RAG, vector indexes, context managementand data quality) that deliver relevant and verifiable answers

Setting upevaluation and observability frameworksfor AI solutions: output quality, flow behaviour,cost, latency, incidents and level of human intervention

Integrating AI capabilities withbackend architectures, APIs, transactional systems and cloud platforms, making sure solutions areoperable and maintainable in production

Creatingreusable patterns, standards and technical guidelinesto scale the responsible adoption of GenAI across projects and industries

Leadingarchitecture conversations with technical and business stakeholders, identifying risks, dependencies and alternatives to turn vision into a viable implementation

Requirements

Essential Experience

6+ years in software architecture, technical design or the evolution of complex enterprise solutions

Proven experience definingdistributed architectures:microservices, APIs, event-driven and asynchronous integration, containers or cloud services





Ability to translate business and user needs intoarchitecture decisions, technical patterns and realistic roadmaps

Solid grasp of core architecture principles:scalability, resilience, security, observability, performance and governance

Backend background, ideally withJava, Spring Boot and/or Python, plus API and integration design

Recent hands?on experience (ideally 1–2 years)withGenerative AI, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databasesor intelligent automation

Practical knowledge ofagentic patterns: orchestration, context management, tool use, decision flows, API integration andhuman-in-the-loop

Experience withcloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)andautomation / Infrastructure as Codepractices

Ability totechnically guide development teamsand work across data, cloud, security and business profiles

Based in Spainand available for ahybrid model(Bilbao preferred)

Nice to Have

Familiarity withGenAI / Agentic frameworks and platformssuch asLangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, Azure AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock or Vertex AI(no need to master them all)

English level B2/C1for international documentation and teams
