Role Overview

VRKT is seeking an experienced Vehicle Network Integration & Validation Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a 3-month onsite assignment in Spain to support vehicle-level integration and validation activities.

The role focuses on validating automotive communication networks including CAN FD, CAN HS (Classical CAN), and LIN, ensuring reliable communication between ECUs, gateways, diagnostics, and vehicle subsystems. The successful candidate will define test strategies, support validation activities, analyze communication issues, drive defect resolution, and provide technical recommendations for vehicle release readiness.

Strong hands-on expertise in automotive network protocols, diagnostics, Vector tools, and vehicle integration testing is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Validate vehicle communication networks including CAN FD, CAN HS, and LIN.

Review and validate DBC, LDF, ARXML, network architecture, and ECU communication specifications.

Define and execute vehicle-level network validation strategies and regression testing.

Perform gateway, diagnostics, network management, and sleep/wake-up validation.





Execute fault injection and communication robustness testing.

Analyze network traces and support root cause investigation and defect resolution.

Collaborate with software, diagnostics, E/E architecture, functional safety, cybersecurity, and supplier teams.

Review test evidence and provide vehicle network readiness recommendations.

Support automation and validation activities using CANoe, CAPL, and Python.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.

8+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Systems, Vehicle Integration, or E/E Validation.

Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols and diagnostics.

Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle network issues.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience leading technical discussions and validation activities across cross-functional teams.
