About the Role The Web3 Hedge Fund & Portfolio Specialist will focus on cryptocurrency hedge fund research, digital asset portfolio strategy development, and the evaluation of investment opportunities across integral blockchain markets. The role combines quantitative market analysis, portfolio construction, investment due diligence, and risk management to develop data-driven strategies supporting investment performance and disciplined capital allocation. Working with investment researchers, trading professionals, and blockchain specialists, the specialist will evaluate cryptocurrency market trends, assess portfolio exposures, and contribute to the development of diversified digital asset investment strategies.

This position offers exposure to active cryptocurrency investing, hedge fund methodologies, decentralized finance, and emerging Web3 venture opportunities within a digital asset investment environment.

What You'll Do

- Develop and evaluate cryptocurrency hedge fund strategies,



digital asset portfolio allocation frameworks, and investment models
- Research Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, stablecoins, tokenized assets, and decentralized finance protocols to identify potential investment opportunities
- Analyze portfolio performance, risk-adjusted returns, market volatility, liquidity conditions, and diversification strategies
- Conduct fundamental and quantitative investment due diligence on blockchain projects, tokenomics, digital asset valuations, and emerging Web3 ventures
- Evaluate portfolio hedging methodologies, position sizing, capital allocation strategies, and investment risk management frameworks
- Prepare hedge fund research reports, portfolio performance assessments, financial models, and strategic investment recommendations
- Collaborate with investment research, trading, and blockchain professionals to improve portfolio analytics, investment intelligence, and systematic trading strategies

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of experience in cryptocurrency investing, hedge fund research, portfolio management, quantitative finance, or digital asset investment analysis
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, hedge fund investment strategies, and portfolio construction principles
- Experience with financial modeling,



portfolio optimization, investment due diligence, hedging strategies, and risk management methodologies
- Familiarity with decentralized finance, tokenomics, cryptocurrency derivatives, blockchain venture investments, and on-chain analytics platforms
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with proficiency in Excel, TradingView, Dune, or similar financial research platforms; Python or SQL experience is an advantage
- Excellent investment judgment, strategic thinking, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline preferred; CFA, CAIA, or demonstrated personal cryptocurrency investing and portfolio management experience is an advantage

Compensation

EUR 85,000 - EUR 100,000 per year in proposed gross base salary, depending on experience, hedge fund expertise, and investment qualifications.
