Further Group is a fast-growing and dynamic company at
the forefront of innovation, leveraging cutting-edge technology and
a deep understanding of the healthcare sector to deliver turnkey
solutions for the treatment of serious medical conditions. Our
company works with insurers, large employers, and affinity
organizations worldwide, to accelerate consumer access to the best
treatment choices. As the global leader in our field, we are
seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join us
Salesforce Developer. The role focuses on develop and maintain the
code and automations of our Salesforce platform under the direction
of the Salesforce Platform Owner. The role adds development
capacity, helps clear a backlog of platform maintenance and
modernisation, and provides cover for day-to-day requests, so the
platform stays reliable as more teams and projects depend on it. As
our Salesforce Developer, you'll get to: Develop and maintain Apex
classes and triggers following best practices (bulkification,
governor limits and the team's trigger framework); write unit tests
with meaningful assertions and fix defects in existing code.
Document the existing Apex code and triggers, especially on the
Case object, help review them with business stakeholders to
identify logic that can be retired, and progressively take on their
refactoring under the direction of the Platform Owner. Build and
maintain Salesforce Flow automations (record-triggered, scheduled
and screen flows). Migrate the remaining Process Builder
automations to Flow and retire the old versions, following the
team's naming conventions. Handle a share of functional change
requests through declarative configuration: fields, validation
rules, page layouts, record types, reports and dashboards, profiles
and permission sets.

Take part in the ongoing clean-up of obsolete
configuration, fields and roles to reduce technical debt. Support
data retention: extract and archive closed-case data and files in
line with the company's retention policy. Keep technical and
configuration documentation, release notes and test evidence up to
date. Follow the change management process (version control, code
review and approval) and the principle of least privilege; client
and claims data may include sensitive health information and must
be handled in line with GDPR. Provide cover for day-to-day
administration and user support when the Platform Owner is away.
We'd love to meet someone who: Degree or vocational qualification
in computing, engineering or a related field, or equivalent
practical experience. 2–4 years of hands-on Salesforce development
with Apex (classes and triggers) and SOQL. Good understanding of
governor limits, bulkification and trigger frameworks. Experience
writing unit tests with meaningful assertions. Hands-on experience
with Flow and good judgement on when to use Flow or Apex. Working
knowledge of the Salesforce data and security model: objects,
sharing, profiles, permission sets and field-level security.
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer (formerly Platform
Developer I). Professional working proficiency in Spanish and
English. Desirable Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
(highly valued)

or Platform App Builder. Asynchronous Apex (Batch,
Queueable, Scheduled). Integrations through REST APIs (JSON, Named
Credentials). Git (branches, pull requests, merge conflicts) with
Salesforce CLI and sandboxes. Lightning Web Components; Aura or
Visualforce, to maintain and retire legacy components. Experience
with Service Cloud or Sales Cloud. Experience in insurance,
