Overview

In this role you will shape Vueling’s three-year Commercial Strategy and annual roadmap to drive sustainable revenue growth. You will align Sales, Distribution, Revenue Management, Digital, Marketing and Customer Experience to translate objectives into actionable initiatives. You’ll lead cross-functional programs, analyze markets and opportunities, and present strategic choices to leadership. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and the use of AI to enhance commercial performance and process efficiency.

Responsabilidades

- Define and maintain the three-year Commercial Strategy and annual roadmap across B2C and B2B
- Translate corporate objectives into strategic initiatives and measurable targets
- Coordinate initiatives across Revenue Management, Digital, Sales & Distribution, Marketing, Loyalty, Product and Customer Experience
- Lead cross-functional strategic projects (new product launches, proposition enhancements, channel development)
- Conduct market analysis, customer research, and competitive benchmarking
- Develop business cases and financial models to support executive decisions
- Establish governance frameworks and prioritisation processes
- Monitor initiatives, track KPIs, and report to senior leadership
- Collaborate with Finance, Network Planning, Transformation, Data & Technology and other functions




- Manage relationships with external stakeholders (IAG Strategy, research agencies, consultants)
- Identify and pursue new business models and revenue opportunities
- Prepare executive-level recommendations for decision-making

Requisitos principales
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Commercial or Corporate Strategy, Revenue Management, or related analytic roles
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Experience using AI tools and methodologies to enhance processes and performance
- Strong track record in business case development, strategic analyses and executive-level recommendations
- Experience influencing stakeholders in matrix organisations without direct authority
- Ability to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and execution plans
- Experience solving complex, ambiguous business challenges
- Previous exposure to aviation, travel, ecommerce, digital businesses, consulting or corporate strategy is advantageous
