Overview

In this role you will lead the integration of simulation models into the A400M Training Simulation Environment, bridging aircraft design, simulation systems, and software development. You will own model integration activities and contribute to software development in C++, ensuring quality and traceability. The position involves working with MATLAB/Simulink or SCADE models, developing interfaces, and collaborating with international teams to meet training and performance goals. This role offers impact on mission-critical simulation capabilities and continuous improvement of processes.

Responsabilidades

- Take technical ownership of the integration lifecycle for simulation models delivered by aircraft design offices
- Analyze MATLAB/Simulink or SCADE models to generate, compile and integrate executable code into the simulator environment
- Define and maintain model interfaces, data exchanges and integration dependencies
- Analyze and manage system and software requirements with traceability
- Develop,



maintain and debug simulation software components in C++
- Contribute to software architecture, interface design, and integration strategies
- Ensure releases meet requirements and quality standards
- Maintain configuration control of models, source code, generated executables, interfaces and documentation

Requisitos principales

- Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Significant professional experience in software development and integration of complex engineering systems (8+ years)
- Strong practical knowledge of C++ and software development fundamentals
- Experience integrating simulation models or software components into complex systems
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink models and model-based development workflows
- Solid understanding of requirements management, software testing, debugging, configuration management and change control
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary, international teams
