What are we looking for?

- An/a In Service Support Manager - Tactical & Satellite Communications, with at least 10 years of experience.
- Availability to join a stable project in Valdepeñas or Madrid.
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Work Model: 50% remote work.
- Work Schedule: 9h M-T and 5.30h F.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
- Experience in technical project management, maintenance, and in-service support.
- Experience managing projects with responsibility for schedule, cost, scope, and quality.
- Experience coordinating technical teams, logistics, suppliers, and support activities.
- Experience working directly with clients and monitoring contractual commitments.
- Practical knowledge of maintenance, incidents, repairs, spare parts, obsolescence, and in-service system support.
- Technical knowledge of tactical communications, SATCOM, RF, networks, or complex telecommunications systems.
- Organized, decisive, and client-oriented profile, with the ability to simultaneously manage different activities and priorities.
- Experience in defense, critical communications, SATCOM, or C4ISR.
- Willingness to travel.

The following will be considered a plus:

- Knowledge of ILS, configuration management, or obsolescence management.
- Experience in managing SLAs, availability, and maintenance contracts.
- Knowledge of planning tools, ERP, and project management.




- Professional-level English and experience in international projects.

What will your responsibilities be?

You will be responsible for managing maintenance, support, and sustainment projects for tactical and satellite communications, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and contractual commitments. You will serve as the primary point of coordination between the client, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Quality, and all other departments involved in service delivery. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Planning and managing maintenance and support projects for communications systems.
- Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, repairs, field support, and technical assistance.
- Managing upgrades, incidents, obsolescence, and modifications.
- Monitoring planning, costs, risks, milestones, deliverables, and KPIs.
- Managing day-to-day client relations and contract compliance.
- Coordinate internal multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
- Monitor system availability and service levels.
- Identify additional needs for support, modernization, or contract expansion during project execution.
