OverviewIn this role, you will lead Deel's global DevOps team to scale a highly available SaaS platform. You will partner with cross-functional squads to improve automation, reliability, and observability across multiple AWS environments. You'll own governance, security, cost optimization, and incident response, shaping self-service tooling and golden paths for engineers. then implement fixes Set priorities and report to engineering leadership Requisitos principales2+ years managing DevOps/SRE/Platform teams 5+ years as a DevOps engineer Deep knowledge of AWS
- multi-account setups, managed services (CloudFront, RDS, Elasticache) including networking (VPC, DNS, load balancing, service mesh) Deep hands-on Kubernetes expertise (EKS) including cluster design, upgrades, multi-cluster operations, service mesh, Crossplane, Cluster Autoscalers, ingress controllers, network policies, RBAC, workload security and resource tuning IaC experience (Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi/Crossplane) CI/CD and GitOps experience (GitHub Actions/Jenkins, ArgoCD/Flux, Helm) Python, Node.js or Bash scripting Database and messaging experience (PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ) Observability experience (Prometheus Stack, Coralogix/DataDog OpenTelemetry) Security and compliance experience (SOC 2/ISO) Production experience with uptime, DR and incident troubleshooting Clear communication and a strong sense of ownership Nice to have: Go, multi-cloud, FinOps, experience scaling teams across time zones Clear communication Strong sense of ownership Leadership and mentoring AWS multi-account administration Kubernetes (EKS) cluster design and operations Service mesh, Crossplane, and cluster autoscalers
