OverviewIn this role you will support the senior team in analyzing and structuring subscription line facilities, NAV-based financing, and asset-based lending for private capital clients.
You will gain exposure to international fund managers and learn across the transaction lifecycle from origination to closing.
You will work with Risk, Legal, and Relationship teams to assess pricing, profitability, and capital usage within Santander CIB's framework.
This is a hands-on opportunity to help drive sophisticated fund finance solutions in a high-impact environment.

ResponsabilidadesBuild and interpret financial and cash flow models, including downside scenarios
Support due diligence on fund structures, investors, uncalled capital, and fund documentation
Assist in negotiating financing docs, coordinate NDAs with Legal, and support closing conditions




Prepare marketing materials and client analyses to support origination
Maintain transaction pipelines and internal reporting, monitor portfolio cash flows and covenants
Coordinate with Risk, Legal, Capital, and Markets on pricing, profitability, and capital usage
Requisitos principalesSolid grounding in financial analysis and credit fundamentals
Experience in Fund Finance, Structured Finance, credit analysis, or related roles (preferred)
Advanced Excel and ability to prepare presentations in PowerPoint
Sound understanding of financial statements and accounting; familiarity with regulatory frameworks is a plus
Fluent English; Spanish highly valued; other languages preferred
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Analytical thinking and sound judgment
Clear written and verbal communication; teamwork and stakeholder coordination
Advanced Excel skills
Financial modeling and cash flow analysis
Experience with fund finance models (plus)
