About the role:
The Claims Handler who will support the manager handling Italian claims related to different lines of business: Marine, Property and Liability, emanating from a Japanese portfolio;




The candidate will report to the Deputy Claims Manager in Belgium
whereas
the office is based in Barcelona.
Key
Responsibilities
:
Handling P&C; Marine claims for Japanese business as follows:
collecting the whole documentation provided by brokers or clients;
checking the wording for assessing the coverage;
appointing a surveyor if necessary;
informing the manager of any development;
preparing the settlement proposal;
recording all the data in different systems and database.
collaborating with colleagues in different departments & business partners
Skills And Competencies Required
:
University degree
At least 2+ years of
previous
experience in the insurance industry
Experience on the Italian market
Native
proficiency
in Italian and fluent in English
Good knowledge of Excel and database
Demonstrates a commitment to precision with a strong focus on detail-oriented and methodological approach
Experience working within international environment
Skills And Competencies
Preferred

in Spanish
