ShieldAIisseekingaDirectorofContingentWorkforceProgramstoleadthestrategy,governance,operations,andcontinuousimprovementofourcontingentworkforceprogram,supportingagencyworkers,independentcontractors,andstatement-of-work(SOW)engagements.Inthisrole,youwillindependentlyassessbusinessneeds,establishprogrampriorities,recommenddecisions,anddriveexecutionacrossfunctions.Youwillbuildandimprovetheprocesses,controls,andpartnershipsthatenableaneffective,scalableprogram.Youwillpartnercloselywithbusinessleaders,PeopleExperience(PX),EORvendors,Legal,Finance,IT,andSecuritytostrengthenprogramperformance,managerisk,improvesupplieraccountability,anddeliveraconsistentstakeholderexperience.Thisisahands-onroleforsomeonewhocansetdirectionandfollowthroughontheoperationaldetailsthatmakeaprogramsuccessful.Therolemaysuperviseoneemployeeresponsibleforprogramcoordinationandadministration.
What You'll Do:

ProgramStrategy&Governance;
•Ownthecontingentworkforceprogramstrategy,operatingmodel,androadmap;independentlyassessgaps,recommendsolutions,anddriveimprovements.
•Establishpolicies,processes,decisionrights,approvalrequirements,andserviceexpectationswithcross-functionalpartners.
•Leadprogramchangesfromplanningthroughimplementation,communications,training,andadoption.

ProgramOperations




•Overseetheengagementlifecycle,fromintakeandreviewthroughonboarding,extensions,andoffboarding.
•Monitorserviceperformance,resolvebottlenecks,andleadresolutionofcomplexorsensitiveissues.

•Addressrecurringproblemsanddeveloppracticalguidancethatimprovesexecutionandthemanagerexperience.
•PartnerwithbusinessleadersandFinanceonworkforceneeds,engagementoptions,andbudgetconsiderations.
•Serveastheprogram'ssubject-matterexpertandcoordinateclassificationreviewswithLegal,PX,andProcurement.
•Alignstakeholders,driveaccountability,andpresentprogramperformance,risks,andrecommendationstoleadership.

Vendors,Data,&SystemsManagement;
•Ownsupplierrelationshipsandperformance,includingscorecards,reviews,andcorrectiveactions.
•Partnerwithbusinessleadersandotherstakeholdersonsupplierstrategy,selection,contracts,rates,andcostoptimization.
•MaintainprogramcontrolswithLegal,PX,Procurement,andSecurity,ensuringrequiredreviews,approvals,documentation,andexceptionsaremanaged.
•Definemetricsandreportingtomonitorworkforcepopulation,spend,supplierperformance,servicelevels,andrisk.
•Usedatatoguideimprovementsandpartnerwithvendorstostrengthenworkflows,dataquality,andsupportingsystems.
Required Qualifications:

•12+yearsofrelevantexperienceincontingentworkforcemanagement,workforceprograms,HR/PXoperations,procurement,orsuppliermanagement,includingdirectownershipofacontingentworkforceprogram.




•Demonstratedexperiencebuilding,scaling,ortransforminganenterprisecontingentworkforceprogram,withmeasurableimprovementsinoperations,governance,supplierperformance,orcost.
•Experienceindependentlyleadingcomplex,cross-functionalinitiativesfromproblemdefinitionthroughimplementationandongoingimprovement.
•Strongworkingknowledgeofagencyworker,independentcontractor,andSOWengagementmodels.
•Experienceestablishingprogramgovernance,processes,controls,servicestandards,andperformancemeasures.
•Experiencemanagingsuppliersandresolvingcomplexoperationalorstakeholderissues.
•Abilitytoanalyzeworkforce,supplier,orspenddataandturnfindingsintoactionablerecommendations.

•Strongcommunicationandinfluencingskills,withtheabilitytoadviseleadersanddriveaccountabilityacrossteams.
•Abilitytoworkindependentlywithbroaddirection,navigateambiguity,andbalancestrategicprioritieswithhands-onexecution.

Seattle and San Mateo Locations: $205,000 -$300,000
All other locations: $174,000 - $260,000
