The Solution Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and evolving Customer Master Data Management (CMDM) solutions that support Boehringer Ingelheim's general customer data ecosystem.
The role provides end-to-end architecture leadership across Veeva Network, customer data integrations, downstream data consumers, and master data services while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
The Solution Architect serves as the bridge between business requirements, product strategy, and technical implementation, ensuring scalable, compliant, and sustainable solutions that support global operations and future growth.
Tasks and responsibilitiesLead the architecture and design of Customer Master Data Management (CMDM) solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and strategic business objectivesDefine and govern solution architectures, integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and technology designs across Veeva Network and related customer data platformsPartner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Capability Leads, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, sustainable solutionsProvide architecture leadership across the full delivery lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and operational supportLead architecture reviews, maintain architecture documentation, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, data privacy, and quality standardsDrive architectural consistency across customer master data platforms, integrations,



and downstream applicationsIdentify technology risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support the long-term evolution of the global CMDM landscapeCollaborate with global and regional stakeholders to advance customer data, data governance, and integration initiativesRequirementsMaster's or bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or Mathematics preferredSeveral years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, or related technical leadership rolesExperience with Master Data Management (MDM), customer data platforms, enterprise integrations, and large-scale business applicationsProven success designing and implementing enterprise solutions in global, cross-functional environmentsStrong understanding of solution architecture principles, enterprise architecture frameworks, integration patterns, APIs, cloud technologies, and data platformsKnowledge of customer master data management, data governance, data quality, and enterprise integration best practicesAbility to create architecture documentation, solution assessments, and technical roadmapsExperience designing scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned technology solutionsExcellent stakeholder management, communication,
