OverviewIn this role you will manage material and service procurement to support EFI's manufacturing goals, focusing on cost-effective purchasing and on-time delivery.
You will collaborate with Engineering and suppliers to source components, coordinate production schedule changes, and handle engineering changes for purchased parts.
The position emphasizes cross-functional alignment and supplier relationship management to drive scalable, reliable sourcing.
This is a hands-on procurement role that fuels growth in EFI's print business.
ResponsabilidadesObtain quotes from vendors (verbal and written)
Prepare purchase orders using SAP for goods and services
Research and source engineering-defined components globally
Coordinate production schedule changes with suppliers and negotiate price adjustments for volume swings
Collaborate with Engineering and other groups on prototype procurement
Process engineering changes for purchased components
Maintain professional supplier relationships




Requisitos principalesBachelor in Engineering or Science in Business Administration or equivalent with 3–5 years purchasing experience, or 5–8 years purchasing experience without BS degree
Knowledge of purchasing policies, terms, taxation, and payments
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, sheet metal, machining and finishes
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
Excellent written and oral communication in English
Experience in manufacturing or operations/engineering in a similar industry
Understanding of inventory management process
