Job Summary

At Home English is looking for enthusiastic and motivated English Language Assistants to join private and state-subsidised schools across Galicia, in northwestern Spain.

JOB DETAILS

- Position: English Language Assistant
- Location: Schools throughout Galicia, Spain
- Dates: 1 February 31 May 2027
- Salary: Above the applicable collective agreement rates
- Available positions: 90
- Hours: 24 per week

REQUIREMENTS

- Native English speaker OR a certified C1 level of English (CEFR).
- EU citizenship or valid authorisation to work in Spain.
- A university degree in any field
- A TEFL (or equivilant) certificate
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children and teenagers.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus, but not essential.

YOUR ROLE





- Help students improve their English speaking and listening skills.
- Encourage communication through engaging, interactive activities.
- Support teachers in the classroom.
- Share cultural experiences and motivate students to use English confidently.

Qualifications

Salary and Benefits

- €1,200 / month (net)
- ≈ £1,002 / $1,345
