Experteer Overview As an IT Risk (IRM) Expert within ING Hubs Spain, you will combine country-level IT risk expertise with global risk management responsibilities.
You will translate risk data and emerging threats into actionable insights to support decision-making across local and global perspectives.
You will act as a trusted second-line advisor to IT and business management, shaping risk analyses, framework development, and oversight activities.
This role offers exposure to diverse stakeholders, strategic IT programs, and opportunities to advance risk capabilities within a dynamic, international environment.

• Act as a trusted IT risk advisor to IT and business management, offering independent second-line perspective
• Define and deliver strategic and ad-hoc risk analyses and management reports with clear business impact
• Contribute to IRM community oversight through QA reviews and steering activities
• Participate in risk assessment and reporting of key IT programs and technology developments
• Propose optimizations, share knowledge, and strengthen IT risk capabilities across the NFR community
• Support IRM and NFR management with research, data collection, analysis, and insights
• Develop and maintain the IT risk framework, policies, standards, procedures, methods, and techniques
• Identify emerging technology trends and threats and translate into priorities and improvement proposals
• Assess impact of legal and regulatory developments and coordinate related actions




• Utilize data analytics and visualization (Power BI, Power Automate) to identify trends and strengthen management information

* Technology Risk Management with understanding of IT governance, processes, infrastructure, cloud, data, third-party risk, and resilience
• Knowledge of cyber security risk, IAM, cloud security, change and incident management
• Experience in risk identification, assessment, prioritization, control assessment, monitoring, and reporting
• Ability to operate as an independent second-line function and build relationships with risk, business, and technology stakeholders
• Experience across local and integral environments with cross-functional support and oversight
• Strong data analytics skills and ability to turn risk data into insights; Power BI experience highly valued
• Familiarity with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools
• Ability to translate technical topics into clear business impact for senior stakeholders
• Forward-looking with interest in emerging technologies and regulatory changes; AI risk management is a plus
