Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Madrid. The Cashier will manage daily point-of-sale operations, including processing cash, card, and electronic payments accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include issuing receipts, handling returns or exchanges as per company policy, and reconciling cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts. The role also involves providing courteous customer service, answering questions about transactions, and resolving basic payment issues. The Cashier will maintain a clean and orderly checkout area, follow security and compliance procedures,



and collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth front-office operations.

Qualifications

- Strong cash-handling skills, including accurate counting, balancing, and reconciliation of cash drawers.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills for processing transactions and maintaining records.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with diverse customers.
- Attention to detail and reliability in following procedures, managing receipts, and handling returns or exchanges.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Madrid, including flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic numeracy skills and comfort working with prices, discounts, and transaction totals.
- Previous experience in a cashier, retail, or front-office role is preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in customer service or retail operations is an advantage.
