You’ll join an international team supporting a large enterprise environment, coordinating data migration activities and Disaster Recovery exercises across more than 200 applications. Your background should come from infrastructure or cloud, with enough technical knowledge to work with Infrastructure, Cloud, Development, Application and Business teams.

This position is based in Madrid or Barcelona and comes with a permanent contract.

✍️ What would you need? ✍️

- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Infrastructure Project Lead, Cloud Project Lead or Infrastructure Engineer with strong project coordination experience.
- A solid background in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, systems engineering, backup or Disaster Recovery .
- Experience coordinating Disaster Recovery tests, recovery exercises, data migrations or cutover activities .
- Practical experience with data restoration , backup and recovery of files, databases, servers, virtual machines or applications.
- Good understanding of cloud and infrastructure environments, especially Azure . AWS, GCP and VMware are also valued.
- Experience working with application dependencies and large application environments.
- Ability to coordinate Infrastructure, Cloud, Development, Application and Business teams.
- Experience preparing schedules, execution plans, runbooks, evidence and action plans.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to react quickly when an application, user or technical team faces an issue.
- Fluent English , written and spoken. Spanish is a plus.
- Strong organisation, follow-up and problem-solving skills.

? What will you be doing? ?

- Coordinate the preparation of data migration activities.




- Organise the annual Disaster Recovery test involving more than 200 applications .
- Prepare schedules, milestones, execution plans and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate Infrastructure, Cloud, Development, Application and Business teams.
- Review application dependencies and define the required recovery sequence.
- Check that tools, procedures, teams and technical prerequisites are ready.
- Coordinate backup, restore and data recovery activities.
- Review potential impacts on applications and users.
- Prepare contingency plans and recovery scenarios.
- Manage issues, escalations and pending actions during migrations and recovery exercises.
- Make sure the right technical teams are involved when problems arise.
- Collect evidence and document test results.
- Prepare lessons learned and improvement actions.
- Communicate progress, risks and decisions to technical stakeholders and management.
- Work with engineers to understand failover, recovery and cloud infrastructure scenarios.
