Overview

In this role you will develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, and capacity. You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality to drive continuous improvement and support new product introductions and equipment transfers. You’ll troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with customer requirements and standards. Responsabilidades

- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, and operating standards to improve productivity and meet customer requirements
- Lead continuous improvement by analyzing cycle times, scrap, defects, OEE, and downtime to boost efficiency and quality
- Provide technical support on the production lines, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support new product introductions, ECOs, and PCNs by evaluating prototypes and developing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and flow diagrams
- Coordinate equipment and production line transfers between sites, support tooling design, and ensure successful project execution




- Investigate customer complaints and manufacturing quality issues, support MRB activities, and implement CAPA measures
- Develop and maintain engineering standards, preventive maintenance plans, technical training materials, and employee development initiatives

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- Experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and production optimization
- Experience with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and problem-solving methodologies
- Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, process flow diagrams, and manufacturing documentation
- Ability to analyze manufacturing performance indicators (OEE, scrap, productivity, cycle time, downtime)
- Experience supporting engineering changes, NPI, tooling improvements, and process transfers
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical production support
