In this role you will help reduce fraud losses and improve profitability by applying advanced risk rules and machine learning. You will partner with Product, Engineering and Data Science to design and roll out prevention controls and measure impact. You will analyze fraud patterns with SQL and analytics tools, support A/B testing, and manage escalation processes across regional teams. You will build executive dashboards to monitor fraud metrics and align risk controls with business goals. Responsabilidades
- Identify opportunities to reduce fraud losses across streams and improve profitability using advanced risk rules and ML
- Design, roll out and iterate end-to-end fraud prevention controls
- Assist in evaluating controls via setup, monitoring, and performance analysis of A/B tests
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Data Science to propose preventive fraud controls
- Perform risk analysis using SQL,
Python and analytics platforms (Looker, BigQuery) to detect patterns and monitor metrics
- Contribute to ML workflows by defining features, validating models, and flagging drift
- Maintain a centralized escalation process for suspected fraud with regional alignment
- Develop and maintain executive Looker dashboards to track fraud OKRs, exposure and compliance metrics
- Clarify complex fraud topics with data-driven communication for local ops, leadership and partners
Requisitos principales
- 1–3 years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management, fintech or analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL; Python or similar is a plus
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar
- Theoretical understanding of precision vs. recall and A/B testing principles
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Curiosity and problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to learn in risk and fintech
- Proficiency in English
