Overview of the Role

As a QA Engineer specializing in Manufacturing Controlling (CO/PC), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial and production data within complex manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for designing and executing rigorous test scenarios that safeguard critical processes such as product costing, cost centre accounting, production order management, and period-end closing. Your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability and trustworthiness of financial operations, especially in environments dealing with high-value materials like precious metals, stones, and watch components.

Detailed Responsibilities

- Own the design and execution of test cases for product costing, cost centre accounting, production order accounting, WIP (Work in Progress), variance settlement, and period-end close within manufacturing systems.
- Validate accuracy of cost roll-ups, material ledger entries, and settlement flows, with a focus on high-value materials and components.
- Develop and implement reconciliation-focused test scenarios that meet the stringent requirements of Finance and Operations teams.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Manufacturing, and IT to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
- Analyze and document test results,



identify discrepancies, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain and enhance QA processes, methodologies, and best practices for SAP CO/PC and Finance/Production integration.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance framework.

Skill Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong experience with SAP CO/PC modules, including integration with Finance and Production.
- Proven expertise in designing and executing test scenarios for manufacturing controlling processes.
- Deep understanding of material ledgers, cost roll-ups, settlement flows, WIP, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in high-value manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with reconciliation processes and financial data validation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Other Requirements (Optional)

- SAP certification in Controlling (CO) or Production Planning (PP) is a plus.
- Experience in luxury manufacturing or industries handling precious materials is advantageous.
- Exposure to automation tools or scripting for QA processes.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
